Tilt-Shift's Biggest: Vincent Laforet
Vincent Laforet: The biggest name in tilt-shift photography in the world right now. I couldn't have a blog about tilt-shift, without mentioning the master. Unfortunately, Vincent has been too busy winning photography prizes, working for the most circulated magazines in the world and being named as among the most influential photographers in the world to participate in the Tilt-Shift America project so far.
Make sure to visit his blog, an absolute must read: http://blog.vincentlaforet.com (which is where I got this image).

His Bio:
Vincent, a three-time winner at the prestigious 2010 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, is a director and Pulitzer Prize–winning photographer who is known for his forward-thinking approach to image-making and storytelling. In addition to having been commissioned by just about every important international publication—including Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, and Life—Vincent is considered a pioneer both for his innovative tilt-shift and aerial photography and in the field of HD-capable DSLR cameras. In fact, his short film Reverie, the first 1080p video shot with a still camera, was seen by more than 2 million times on the first week of its release in 2009.

Opening Night! / Important Tilt-Shift Announcement
The Tilt-Shift America Project Opened July 1st! We want to thank everyone for their support of the show! We are grateful to have such great supporters, and artists. The show was a big hit!
Tilt-Shift America will be on display from now until July 31st, Tuesday -Friday 10:00-5:00, Saturday 10:00-2:00. Myah Bailey's work is also available on etsy: www.myah.etsy.com
THE PROJECT CONTINUES! Arrangements are being made for a tilt-shift presentation later this month (I have a big name artist who is interested, but I don't want to jinx it until it is finalized, so I can't say who the artist giving the presentation is just yet).
Thanks again for the support, look for more announcements later this week.
